I see a ride coming online from Sint-Martens-Latem and the first thing I notice is the car: an Audi RS6. I immediately put myself up for driving, not because it is close to home but mainly because of the car. A family car with a 4.0 litre V8 twin-turbo that produces no less than 600 bhp. A comfortable car that goes from 0 to 100 in 3.6 seconds, but which you can also easily cruise at 120 km/h. In short: the golden balance, the best of both worlds. Fast forward to the day of the drive. I arrive at my customer's place, a young guy in his late 20s, early 30s. He hands me the keys, I start the car and off we go to Antwerp. On the way there, we start talking about anything and everything: the car, his work, my studies, etc. We arrive at the restaurant 'De Vogelenzang' and my client invites me inside. Pleasantly surprised, I thank my client for the invitation and we go in together. There I meet his friends, all very nice people. And another pleasant surprise followed: I was invited along to watch the match. After a nice meal and coffee, we set off in the direction of "Den Bosuil". On the programme: Antwerp - OHL. The atmosphere is good and everywhere you look there is red. People are moving in large numbers towards the stadium. The match starts well, at half time it is 2-0 and the 3 points seem to be secured. OHL thought otherwise... the match ends on a meagre 2-2. Time to go home. In the drive back, we talk about the match like men do after every match. When I arrive back, I thank my client for the most pleasant Get Driven ride so far and I leave for home. What a day!
